Abstract

INDONESIA : Perhitungan parameter kinetik Reaktor Pebble Bed dengan program transport Monte Carlo MCNP telah berhasil dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengkayaan 235U, fraksi packing TRISO dan program transport Monte Carlo MCNP yang digunakan terhadap faktor multiplikasi efektif 〖(k〗_eff), fraksi neutron kasip efektif (β_eff), umur neutron serempak 〖 (τ〗_r) dan waktu generasi neutron rerata (Λ). Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan pengkayaan 235U dan fraksi packing TRISO berpengaruh terhadap nilai k_eff, Λ,〖 τ〗_r dan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap β_eff. Nilai parameter kinetik yang diperoleh untuk seluruh pengkayaan 235U dan fraksi packing TRISO yang dipertimbangkan memenuhi standar sistem keselamatan dan kontrol reaktor nuklir PBR. Nilai Λ dan 〖 τ〗_r berada dalam batas aman yang disyaratkan lebih tinggi dari 0,00001 S dengan kesalahan relatif kurang dari 5%. ENGLISH : The calculation of kinetic parameters of Pebble Bed Reactor with Monte Carlo transport code MCNP has been successfully carried out. The purpose of study are to determine the effect of 235U enrichment, TRISO packing fractions and Monte Carlo transport code MCNP used on the effective multiplication factor ( k_eff), effective delayed neutron fraction 〖(β〗_eff), prompt neutron lifetime (〖 τ〗_r) and mean neutron generation time (Λ). The calculation results show that thr 235U enrichment and TRISO packing fraction affect on the k_eff, Λ,〖 τ〗_r values and doesn’t affect signifficantly on the β_eff. The kinetic parameters obtained for all 235U enrichment and TRISO packing fraction considered fullfil safety and control standard system of PBR nuclear reactor. The Λ and〖 τ〗_r values are in safe limit required to be higher than 0,00001 S with relative error of less than 5%.
