Abstract

Tanaman tin merupakan tanaman hortikultura tahunan yang sangat dikenal oleh umat islam karena disebutkan dalam Al-qur’an sebagaimana buah kurma, gandum, jagung, zaitun dan lainnya. Tanaman ini lebih tepatnya disebutkan dalam firman Allah SWT. surat AT-Tiin ayat 1. Salah satu negara yang menjadikan tin sebagai produk utama mereka dan sekaligus eksporter adalah negara Turki dengan total produksi 270,830 t tin atau 36% total panen mereka diekspor (26% dari produksi dunia), di indonesia tanaman ini belum terlalu berkembang sehingga usaha budidaya tin masih menjanjikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi komposisi media tanam terhadap ketiga varietas tanaman tin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kabupaten Tulungagung Jawa Timur pada bulan juni sampai september 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental berupa Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah varietas tanaman tin (V1 = Green Yordan, V2 = Purple Yordan dan V3 = Brown Turkey) dan faktor kedua adalah komposisi media tanam (M0 = tanah, M1 = tanah + pasir + pukan ayam (1:1:1), M2 = tanah + pasir + pukan ayam (2:1:1), M3 = tanah + pasir + pukan kambing (1:1:1), M4 = tanah + pasir + pukan kambing (2:1:1), M5 = tanah + pasir + pukan sapi (1:1:1) dan M6 = tanah + pasir + pukan sapi (2:1:1) sehingga terdapat 21 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang 3 kali. Uji lanjut menggunakan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh interaksi antara varietas dan Komposisi media tanam, namun dianjurkan untuk memakai komposisi media tanam m3 dan m5 karena lebih efisien dan dapat berpengaruh terhadap parameter waktu bertunas, jumlah daun, panjang tunas dan nisbah pupus akar. ABSTRACT Tin plant is annual horticultural plant that is so familiar by muslims because mentioned in Al-Quran was date fruit, wheat, corn, zaitun and the others. This plant exactly mentioned in firman Allah SWT. Surah At-Tin paragraph 1. One of country makes tin as their main product and as well as exporter is Turkey with product total 270,830 t of tin or 36% their harvest total has exported (26% from product the world), in Indonesia in the future tin is not common plant so tin cultivication is still promising. This research intended to know interaction composition of planting medium to the three varieties of tin plants. The research has been done in Tulungagung district province East Java on july until september 2017. The method used is the experimental method of Randomized Block Design (RAK) factorial with two factors, the first factor is variety of tin plant (V1 = Green Yordan, V2 = Purple Yordan dan V3 = Brown Turkey) and the second factor is composition of planting medium (M0 = soil, M1 = soil + sand + chiken manure (1:1:1), M2 = soil + sand + chiken manure (2:1:1), M3 = soil + sand + goat manure (1:1:1), M4 = = soil + sand + goat manure (2:1:1), M5 = = soil + sand + cow manure (1:1:1) dan M6 = soil + sand + cow manure (2:1:1) so there are 21 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times. The continue test has used Duncan test. The result of this research that there are interaction between varieties and composition of planting medium, but it is recommended to use the composition of planting medium m3 and m5 because it is more efficient and can affect parameters time sprout, the number of leaf, shoot length and ratio of drowning roots.
