Abstract

INDONESIA : Pupuk organik yang umum digunakan berasal dari pemanfaatan limbah organik, salah satunya adalah batang tanaman dan kulit buah pisang. Batang tanaman dan kulit buah pisang berpotensi untuk menjadi pupuk organik cair karena memiliki nutrisi penting untuk pertumbuhan tanaman seperti kalium, fosfor, dan masih bayak lagi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik cair dari batang tanaman dan kulit buah pisang terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan pupuk organik cair yang berbeda yaitu pupuk organik batang tanaman pisang, kulit buah pisang, dan kombinasinya dengan rasio perbandingan 1:1, dua perlakuan kontrol yaitu kontrol positif yang menggunakan pupuk NPK, dan kontrol negatif tanpa perlakuan, dengan dosis tiap perlakuan yaitu 85 ml/L. Setiap perlakuan dilakukan 5 kali pengulangan. Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar, bobot basah, dan bobot kering. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji Duncan dengan taraf kepercayaan 0,05. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik batang tanaman pisang yang memberikan hasil paling optimal terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy dengan tinggi tanaman 20,08 cm, jumlah daun 10 helai, panjang akar 29,04 cm, bobot basah 37,8 g, dan bobot kering 2,832 g. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pupuk organik batang tanaman pisang berpotensi untuk digunakan sebagai pupuk organik cair pada pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy. ENGLISH : Commonly used organic fertilizers come from the use of organic waste, one of which is plant stems and banana peels. Plant stems and banana peels have the potential to become liquid organic fertilizer because they have important nutrients for plant growth such as potassium, phosphorus, and much more. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from plant stems and banana peels on the growth of pakcoy plants. The research method used a completely randomized design with three different treatments of liquid organic fertilizer, namely organic fertilizer for banana stems, banana peels, and their combination with a ratio of 1:1, two control treatments, namely positive control using NPK fertilizer, and negative control without treatment, with a dose of each treatment is 85 ml/L. Each treatment was repeated 5 times. The parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, root length, wet weight, and dry weight. The data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's test with a confidence level of 0.05. The results showed that the organic fertilizer treatment of banana stems gave the most optimal results on the growth of pakcoy plants with a plant height of 20.08 cm, number of leaves 10 pieces, root length 29.04 cm, wet weight 37.8 g, and dry weight 2.832 g. The conclusion of this study is that banana stem organic fertilizer has the potential to be used as a liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of pakcoy plants.
