Abstract

INDONESIA : Masa Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi pada awal tahun 2020 sampai akhir tahun 2021, membawa berbagai dampak dan persoalan bagi kehidupan manusia, termasuk juga pada masyarakat Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler, Kota Bandung. Masa Pandemi Covi-19 ini berdampak pada kegiatan dakwah Islam berupa Majelis Taklim Konversi Diniyah (MTKD) Al-Ikhlas yang ada di Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler. Pada kondisi yang dijelaskan tersebut, maka Penyuluh Agama Islam Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler sebagai pembimbing dan sekaligus pengurus MTKD Al-Ikhlas ini memiliki peran yang penting untuk terus melaksanakan kegiatan dakwah Islam di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Berdasarkan latar belakang dari permasalahan yang terjadi pada masa Pandemi Covid-19, terutama permasalahan tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan dakwah di Majelis Taklim Konversi Diniyah (MTKD) Al-Ikhlas Cibeunying Kaler, maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk dapat mengungkap secara mendalam dan menggambarkan secara luas mengenai peran Penyuluh Agama KUA Cibeunying Kaler dalam kegiatan dakwah Islam di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada empat Peran Penyuluh Agama yang terdiri dari peran informatif, peran edukatif, peran konsultatif dan peran advokatif. Berdasarkan fokus penelitian tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran Penyuluh Agama dalam kegiatan dakwah di masa Pandemi Covid-19 yang difokuskan pada empat peran, yaitu: (1) Peran Informatif; (2) Peran Edukatif; (3) Peran Konsultatif; (4) Peran Advokatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini berlokasi di MTKD Al-Ikhlas, Cibeunying Kaler, Kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini berlandaskan pada Role Theori (Teori Peran) yang dikemukakan oleh Bruce J. Biddle. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan empat temuan berikut: (1) Peran informatif Penyuluh Agama dilaksanakan dengan menyampaikan materi kepada masyarakat tentang keislaman dan pembangunan sosial keagamaan, terutama pencegahan Covid-19; (2) Peran edukatif Penyuluh Agama dilaksanakan dengan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat dengan metode partisipatif; (3) Peran konsultatif Penyuluh Agama dilaksanakan dengan membuka pelayanan konsultasi bagi masyarakat dengan menerapkan teknik komunikasi persuasif; (4) Peran advokatif Penyuluh Agama dilaksanakan dengan melakukan advokasi untuk masyarakat dengan mengacu dan berpedoman pada prinsip partisipatif. English : The Covid-19 Pandemic period, which occurred in early 2020 until the end of 2021, brought various impacts and problems for human life, including the people of Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City. The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on da'wah activities in the form of the Al-Ikhlas Conversion Taklim Diniyah Council (CTDC) in Cibeunying Kaler District. In the conditions described above, the Islamic Religious Counselor at the Office of Religious Affairs (IRCORA) of Cibeunying Kaler District as a mentor and at the same time the manager of the Al-Ikhlas Conversion Taklim Diniyah Council (CTDC) has an important role to continue to carry out Islamic da'wah activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the background of the problems that occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic, especially problems regarding the implementation of da'wah activities at the Al-Ikhlas Conversion Taklim Diniyah Council Cibeunying Kaler, this research was conducted to be able to reveal in depth and describe broadly the role of extension workers. Islamic Religious Counselor at the Office of Religious Affairs Cibeunying Kaler in Islamic da'wah activities during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research is focused on four roles of religious instructors which consist of informative role, educative role, consultative role and advocate role. Based on the focus of this research, this study aims to reveal the role of Religious instructor in da'wah activities during the Covid-19 Pandemic which is focused on four roles, namely: (1) Informative Role; (2) Educational Role; (3) Consultative Role; (4) Advocative Role. This research uses case study method. This research is located at Al-Ikhlas Conversion Taklim Diniyah Council, Cibeunying Kaler, Bandung City. Data collection in this study used three techniques, namely observation, interviews and document studies. Theoretically, this research is based on the Role Theory by Biddle. The results of this study reveal the following four findings: (1) The informative role of Religious Counselors is carried out by conveying material to the public about Islam and socio-religious development, especially the prevention of Covid-19; (2) The educational role of religious instructors is carried out by providing education to the community using participatory methods; (3) The consultative role of religious instructor is carried out by opening consultation services for the community by applying persuasive communication techniques; (4) The advocate role of the Religious Instructor is carried out by advocating for the community by referring to and guided by the participatory principle.
