Abstract

ENGLISH : Working women who are married and have children are required to balance their work and family roles. Work-family conflict can cause stress for working women. Professions that are prone to stress are factory workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work-family conflict and stress in women who work as factory workers. This research uses quantitative method with correlational type. The research subjects were 35 women who worked as factory workers at CV X in the city of Bandung. The research instrument uses the Work-Family Conflict Scale and the Perceived Stress Scale. Data analysis with Spearman Rank correlation. The result of the research is that the p-value is smaller than (0.002 < 0.05). So there is a positive relationship between work-family conflict and stress in women who work as factory workers. That is, the higher the work-family conflict, the higher the perceived stress. INDONESIA : Wanita bekerja yang sudah menikah dan memiliki anak dituntut untuk menyeimbangkan dalam menjalankan peran pekerjaan dan keluarga. Work-family conflict dapat menimbulkan stres bagi wanita yang bekerja. Profesi yang rentan mengalami stres yaitu buruh pabrik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara work-family conflict dengan stres pada wanita yang bekerja sebagai buruh pabrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah 35 orang wanita yang bekerja sebagai buruh pabrik di CV X kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan Work-Family Conflict Scale dan Perceived Stress Scale. Analisis data dengan korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu nilai p-value lebih kecil daripada α (0,002 < 0,05). Maka terdapat hubungan positif antara work-family conflict dengan stres pada wanita yang bekerja sebagai buruh pabrik. Artinya, semakin tinggi work-family conflict maka semakin tinggi pula stres yang dirasakan.
