Abstract

INDONESIA : Selada merupakan tanaman sayuran semusim yang kebutuhannya terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Serangan penyakit Cercospora lactucae-sativae mudah sekali menginfeksi tanaman selada sehingga berakibat kerusakan dan bahkan kerugian produksi. Penggunaan ekstrak silika diharapkan dapat menekan cekaman C.lactucae-sativae terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh silika padi dan konsentrasi silika padi yang efektif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada Varietas Grand rapid dengan sistem hidroponik NFT dalam cekaman C.lactucae-sativae. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2021. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di Griya Bandung Indah, Desa Buahbatu, Kecamatan Bojongsoang, Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) perlakuan jenis pupuk dengan konsentrasi berbeda yang digunakan meliputi 8 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan, masing-masing perlakuan berada dalam 1 rak berisi 4 tanaman dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali dalam pipa yang sama, total didapatkan sebanyak 96 satuan tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada parameter jumlah daun, luas daun, tinggi tanaman, bobot segar brangkasan, dan bobot kering brangkasan tidak adanya pengaruh dari pemberian ekstrak silika sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada Var. Grand rapid yang diinokulasi C.lactucae-sativae pada sistem hidroponik NFT. Perlakuan G dengan konsentrasi silika 100 ppm menunjukan intensitas serangan bercak daun paling rendah sebesar 9,63 %. ENGLISH : Lettuce is a seasonal vegetable crop which needs continue to increase every year. Cercospora lactucae-sativae disease easily infect lettuce plants, resulting in damage and even production loss. The use of silica extract is expected to suppress the stress of C.lactucae-sativae on lettuce growth. The purpose of this research were to determine the effect of husk silica and the concentration on the growth and yield of lettuce of the Grand rapid variety with the NFT hydroponic system in the under the stress of C.lactucae-sativae. This research has done in March-May 2021 at Griya Bandung Indah, Buahbatu, Bojongsoang, Kabupaten Bandung, West Java. The method used was Completely Random Design (CRD) treatment of fertilizer types with different concentration, including 3 repetitions for each 8 different treatments. Each treatment was in 1 rack containing 4 plants and was repeated 3 times in the same pipe, a total of 96 plant units were obtained. The results showed that the parameters of the number of leaves, leaf area, plant height, fresh weight of the stover, and dry weight of the stover were not affected by the additional of rice husk silica extract on the growth and yield of lettuce Var. Grand rapid inoculated with C.lactucae-sativae in the hydroponic NFT system. G treatment with 100 ppm silica concentration showed the lowest leaf spot attack intensity of 9.63%.
