Abstract

ENGLISH: The local duck (Anas platyrhynchos javanica) is a poultry species that provides meat and eggs for human use. Duck from the area is strong in protein, which is ideal for human consumption. Indonesian duck output is still insufficient to meet market demand. The price of feed has a big influence on duck farming. Feed is the most expensive part of rearing ducks, accounting for 70% of total production costs. Developing alternative feeds that can be generated by farmers is one way to alleviate the burden on feed expenses. The effect of using a combination of aking rice, bran, tofu dregs, and black soldier fly larvae as an alternative feed on the growth and health of local ducks was investigated in this study. With 14 repetitions, this study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments: P1 (bran + concentrate), P2 (bran + aking rice + BSF larvae), and P3 (bran + aking rice + tofu waste). The P2 group's average final weight difference was 629.29 grams, with the highest initial weight. With a value of 67.65 percent, the control group had the highest average carcass percentage.
