Abstract

ENGLISH : The background of this research is that conventional methods that are often used by teachers in teaching actually make the learning process less effective, as can be seen from the lack of student activity in learning. The above conditions are very unfavorable for both teachers and students. His situation must be changed into an active student, while the teacher guides him closely. This study aims to determine: 1) the implementation of the learning process using a complete sentence type cooperative learning model and conventional learning model (lecture) on PAI subjects, 2) student activity using a complete sentence type cooperative learning model and conventional model learning (lectures) in PAI subjects, and 3) The effect of cooperative learning models of complete sentence type and conventional learning models (lectures) on PAI subjects. This study starts from the idea that student activity in PAI subjects can be influenced by various learning models used by teachers, including the cooperative learning model of complete sentence type. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed is that there is an effect of the cooperative learning model of the complete sentence type and the conventional learning model (lecture) on PAI subjects. The research method used in this research is quasi-experimental. The population used in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Karya Budi with a sample of 66 students, 33 students as the experimental class and 33 students as the control class. This research was conducted in one meeting in the experimental class and once in the control class. The test used in this study (pretest and posttest). Based on the analysis of the research results, it was concluded that (1) the implementation of the learning process in PAI subjects, (a) using a cooperative learning model of complete centence type was 75% in the good category and (b) using the lecture model was 71% in the good category. (2) student learning activity in PAI subjects by (a) using a cooperative learning model of complete centence type is 62.87% in the medium category and (b) using a lecture model is 51.67% with a less active category and (3) the effect of Learning PAI subjects (a) using a cooperative learning model of the complete centence type is 17% the achievement is increasing, this is based on the average pretest result of 113.7 and the posttest average result of 119.97 and (b) using the lecture model is 3, 5% increase in achievement, this is based on the average result of the pretest of 112.12 and the average result of the posttest of 113.39. The result of the t-test calculation is that tcount 5,341 > ttable 1,670 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So the use of the cooperative learning model of the complete centence type in PAI subjects has an influence on student learning activities. INDONESIA : Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah metode konvensional yang sering digunakan guru dalam mengajar ternyata membuat proses pembelajaran kurang efektif, terlihat dari kurangnya keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Kondisi diatas sangat tidak menguntungkan bagi guru maupun siswa. Keadaannya harus diubah menjadi siswa yang aktif, sedangkan guru membimbingnya dari dekat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe complete sentence dan pembelajaran model konvensional (ceramah) pada mata pelajaran PAI, 2) Keaktifan siswa dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe complete sentence dan pembelajaran model konvensional (ceramah) pada mata pelajaran PAI, dan 3) Pengaruh model cooperative learning tipe complete sentence dan pembelajaran model konvensional (ceramah) pada mata pelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini bertolak dari pemikiran bahwa keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru, antara lain model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe complete sentence. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat pengaruh model cooperative learning tipe complete sentence dan pembelajaran model konvensional (ceramah) pada mata pelajaran PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi eksperimen. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Karya Budi dengan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 66 orang siswa, 33 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 33 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak satu kali pertemuan di kelas eksperimen dan satu kali di kelas kontrol. Yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes (pretest dan posttest). Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran PAI, (a) menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe complete centence adalah 75% dengan kategori baik dan (b) menggunakan model ceramah adalah 71% dengan kategori baik. (2) keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI dengan (a) menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe complete centence adalah 62,87% dengan kategori sedang dan (b) menggunakan model ceramah adalah 51,67% dengan kategori kurang aktif dan (3) pengaruh pembelajaran mata pelajaran PAI (a) menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe complete centence adalah 17% pencapaian peningkatnnya, hal ini berdasarkan hasil rata-rata pretest 113,7 dan hasil rata-rata posttest 119,97 dan (b) menggunakan model ceramah adalah 3,5 % pencapaian peningkatannya, hal ini berdasarkan hasil rata-rata pretest 112,12 dan hasil rata-rata posttest 113,39. Diperoleh hasil perhitungan uji t, bahwa thitung 5,341 > ttabel 1,670 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi penggunaan model cooperative learning tipe complete centence pada mata pelajaran PAI terdapat pengaruh terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa.
