Abstract
KUBE (Joint Business Group) E-warung is a place for distributing Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) and basic necessities for Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Program Keluarga Harapan which has a role to improve the economy and social welfare through empowerment programs. In Batununggal district Bandung City in 2021, three KUBE E-warung registered in the Ministry of Social Affairs. This study aimed to find out how is the role of the Social Service in empowering Beneficiary Families through the KUBE PKH E-warung Program and what factors are support and hinder the implementation of the KUBE PKH E-warung program. The research method used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collected through interview techniques, observation and documentation studies. The results showed that the Social Service provided an effective role in strengthening the empowerment of the KUBE E-warung program in two E-warung based on the dimensions of facilitation, strengthening empowerment, protection, and support. The obstacles occured due to a lack of cooperation, coordination, and communication among members. The researcher recommends the Social Service to create special officers to maintain the sustainability of E-warung program in the future.
