Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence partially or simultaneously of indicators of compensation and work motivation on employee performance at Bank Jabar Banten Syariah Bandung Branch. By using quantitative descriptive method. The sample used was 50 employees of Bank Jabar Banten Syariah Bandung Branch, which were selected using the saturated sampling method. To solve the problems contained in this study, researchers used multiple linear analysis techniques. With the help of the SPSS version 26 application. The type of data used is primary data in the form of data from questionnaires filled out by employees The results showed that partially the two variables studied had a significant positive effect. Compensation (X1) has a value of tcount > ttable that is 4.644 > 1.678, the significance value of Compensation (X1) is 0.000 <0.05. And a positive coefficient of 0.546. Motivation (X2) has a value of tcount > ttable that is 4.901 > 1.678, the significance value of Motivation (X2) is 0.000 <0.05. And a positive coefficient of 0.545.Simultaneously compensation and motivation have a significant effect on employee performance at Bank Jabar Banten Syariah Bandung Branch. Because the calculation uses Fcount and Ftable, the value of Fcount > Ftable is 41.262 > 3.20. Judging from the significance value of Compensation (X1) and Motivation (X2) is 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that compensation and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained by 63.7%. That is, the performance of 63.7% can be influenced by compensation and motivation variables. The remaining 36.3% can be explained by variables not examined in this study.
