Abstract

Matematika serta kebudayaan menjadi objek yang tak terlepas dari aktivitas setiap hari, karena kebudayaan merupakan satu kesatuan yang lengkap serta komprehensif, selain itu matematika adalah ilmu pengetahuan yang digunakan untuk memecahkan berbagai macam masalah yang terdapat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari manusia. Pandangan bahwa matematika jauh dari aktivitas kehidupan manusia masih banyak dijumpai lingkungan masyarakat terkhusus pada lingkungan masyarakat Indonesia. mereka menganggap matematika hanyalah rumus, aturan, algoritma yang kebenaran yang absolut serta bersikap abstrak, juga di pandang menjadi ilmu pengetahuan yang ideal dengan kebenaraan yang objektif yang dirasakan jauh dari aktivitas mereka setiap hari, matematika hanya dianggap satu di antara ilmu pengetahuan yang diajarkan di sekolah dan tidak memiliki keterkaitan budaya, pandangan tentang matematika dan budaya tidak memiliki keterkaitan dapat diubah salah satunya dengan penelitian etnomatematika, Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian etnografi, data diperoleh dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian: Aspek-aspek matematis yang terdapat pada hasil kerajinan alumunium terdapat pada kerajinan alumunium adalah aktivitas matematis (aktivitas membilang, aktivitas mengukur dan aktivitas mendesain), konsep perbandingan, konsep bilangan aritmatika, serta aspek geometris seperti bangun datar ( lingkaran, ellips, persegi panjang, trapesium) serta bangun ruang (tabung, kerucut terpancung), teselasi, hiperbola dan parabola. Implementasi bentuk kerajinan alumunium alat-alat dapur dapat digunakan pada materi SMP tentang konsep perbandingan, konsep bilangan aritmatika, serta aspek geometris seperti bangun datar (lingkaran, ellips, persegi panjang, dan trapesium) serta bangun ruang (tabung, kerucut terpancung), teselasi, hiperbola dan parabola. ENGLISH : Mathematics and culture into an object that can not be separated from the activities of every day, because culture is a unity that is complete and comprehensive , in addition to mathematics is science ya ng used to solve various problems found in everyday human life. The view that mathematics is far from the activities of human life is still found in many communities, especially in Indonesian society. They consider mathematics to be only formulas, rules, algorithms whose absolute truth and abstractness are also seen as ideal sciences. With objective truths that are felt far from their daily activities, mathematics is only considered one of sciences taught in schools and has no cultural connection views on mathematics and culture have no connection, one og which can be changed by etnomathematical research. The method used is a qualitative method with anetnographic research approach, data obtained by inteviews, observations, documentation and field notes. Based on the results of the study: The mathematical aspects contained in the aluminum crafts found in aluminum crafts are mathematical activities (numbering activities, measuring activities and design activities), comparison concepts, arithmetic number concepts, and geometric aspects such as flat shapes (circles, ellipses, rectangle, trapezoid) and shapes (tube, truncated cone), tessellation, hyperbola and parabola. The implementation of the form of aluminum kitchen utensils can be used in junior high school materials about the concept of comparison, the concept of arithmetic numbers, as well as geometric aspects such as flat shapes (circles, ellipses, rectangles, and trapezoids) as well as spatial shapes (tubes, truncated cones), tessellations, hyperbola and parabola.
