Abstract

The human who is created from the essence of the land then become the most perfect creature acts as the caliph on earth. The question pertaining to the role is that how human can determine the future of their life. The purpose of this paper is to elucidate the future of human beings while living their lives from the perspective of Buya Hamka in Tafsir al-Azhar. It is a library research which is descriptive, analytic, and comparative in nature. The approach to data analysis is deductive with a normative descriptive following the steps of unit processing (unityzing), categorization, and interpretation. This paper argues that The act of men are created own, humans have been given a gift by god. Sense is that humans can weigh, distinguish between good and the bad, right and wrong. Hamka of those who understand Islam, people are free to determine their own lives. The perfect man who has a strong belief, have a mind, which is capable of determining the direction of his life, have the will, move and forward, has a purpose and cita-cita, and more importantly among them is that can distinguish and think about and know the consequences of his actions. A perfect man is reflected in the muslim community then would cause the brotherhood, , equality and independence
