Abstract

The society activities in improving the welfare and in the field of investment, at present, require banking services. The banking products in the field of raising funds from the public are demand deposits, i.e. deposits which may be withdrawn at any time with the use of checks, giro, forms of payment order, or by transfer. Giro transactions are not all of which can be justified by Islamic law (sharia). Therefore, the National Sharia Council National Sharia Council of Indonesian Council of Ulama [NSC-ICU] deems it necessary to set a fatwa on muamalah forms to be used as guidelines in the implementation of current accounts at the sharia bank (National Sharia Board Fatwa DSN-MUI No. 01 / DSN-MUI / IV / 2000). This paper will discuss the Implementation of Multiple Contract based on the NSC-ICU fatwa.
