Abstract
Deixis is a word, phrase or expression whose reference can be switched depending on who is the speaker, time, to the place where the language unit is spoken. Person deixis is defined according to the role of the player in the language show. The role of that player can be divided into three; First Person, Second Person and Third Person.This study discussed about person deixis used in Christopher Robin's movie which aims to determine the types of Person Deixis and the function of Person Deixis in Christopher Robin's movie. In addition, the researcher also aims to find out how the used of person deixis in Christopher Robin's movie. This data analyzed using Levinson's theory. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The findings showed that the types of person deixis in Christopher Robin's movie were 3 types of person deixis in Christopher Robin's movie, First Person Deixis, Second Person Deixis, and Third Person Deixis. The researcher concluded that the most widely used types and function of Person Deixis in Christopher Robin's movie is First Person Deixis and the most widely used of Person Deixis in Christopher Robin's movie is First Person Deixis.
