Abstract

Students are the next generation and hope of the nation which is the determinant of civilization and the progress of the nation but in school learning conditions that are still conventional impact on the learning results of students on the other hand advances in science and technology, not least the negative impact on human attitudes and behaviors. This study aims to (1) describe the application of Value Clarification Technique (VCT) as a learning model (2) how the results of learning Islamic religious education using the learning model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) (3) how the morality of learners who use the learning model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) (4) the advantages and disadvantages of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model at SMKN 4 Padalarang West Bandung Regency. The research method used is Quasi Experiment. Research instruments in the form of tests and non-tests.. The population in the class X KI B study was 36 students for the experimental class and class X TKJ A which amounted to 36 students for the control class. The results of learners' learning were measured using gain data which was then carried out statistical tests through differences where previously had been done normality test calculations and homogeneity tests. The student's moral variables in this study were obtained from questionnaires through the category table of each variable and the average score. The results showed that the value clarification technique (VCT) learning model after implementation was improved pai learning results and students in grade X KI B as experiments compared to before implementation. This is evidenced by the data value of 8,113> t-table 2,290 then H0 is rejected and H1 received On variable morals there is also an increase that results in the data t-count value 8,049> t-table 2,290, then according to the criteria of the test H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Which means the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model has a high tendency to improve the learning outcomes and morale of students.
