Abstract

Persoalan akal dan wahyu masih menjadi persoalan yang kerap kali diperbincangkan. Bermula dari anggapan bahwa akal dan wahyu bertentangan, yang kemudian dibantah oleh Ibnu Rusyd melalui argumentasi-argumentasinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjawab persoalan yang menjadi pokok pembahasan dalam skripsi ini: 1)Apa hukum mempelajari filsafat dalam Islam, 2)Bagaimana peran akal dan wahyu dalam epistemologi Ibnu Rusyd, 3)Bagaimana relevansinya bagi paradigma wahyu memandu ilmu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian studi pustaka (Library Research). Yaitu penelitian terhadap teks-teks yang membahas tentang Ibnu Rusyd dan segala hal yang berkaitan dengannya, terutama hal yang terkait hubungan akal dan wahyu atau filsafat dan agama, dan juga teori-teori yang membahas tentang paradigma wahyu memandu ilmu. Dengan mengacu pada dua sumber data yaitu sumber data primer dan sekunder. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan metode Interpretasi, Deskripsi, Analisis, dan Metode Filosof. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertama, hukum mempelajari filsafat dalam Islam hukumnya adalah mubah atau boleh, karena tidak ada satupun dari ayat al-Qur’an yang menyatakan keharaman mempelajari filsafat. Kedua, akal dan wahyu memiliki perannya masing-masing. Keduanya saling melengkapi dan saling mengisi. Ketiga, Ibnu Rusyd menemukan titik temu keduanya, yaitu sama-sama mencari kebenaran. Keempat, dari harmonisasi akal dan wahyu atau filsafat dan agama terdapat relevansi bagi paradigma wahyu memandu ilmu yaitu kedua tema pembahasan tersebut sama-sama saling mengintegrasikan dan mencoba mencari keselarasan. The issue of reason and revelation is still a problem that is often discussed. Starting from the assumption that reason and revelation are contradictory, which Ibn Rushd later refuted through his arguments. The purpose of this study is to answer the issues that are the subject of this thesis: 1) What is the law of studying philosophy in Islam, 2) What is the role of reason and revelation in Ibn Rushd's epistemology, 3) What is its relevance for the paradigm of revelation in guiding science. This research is a type of library research. Namely research on texts that discuss Ibn Rushd and everything related to him, especially matters related to the relationship of reason and revelation or philosophy and religion, as well as theories that discuss the paradigm of revelation guides science. By referring to two data sources, namely primary and secondary data sources. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, with methods of interpretation, description, analysis, and philosophical methods. The findings in this study are first, the law of studying philosophy in Islam is permissible or permissible, because none of the verses of the al-Qur'an state that it is forbidden to study philosophy. Second, reason and revelation have their respective roles. Both complement and complement each other. Third, Ibn Rushd found common ground between the two, namely both seeking the truth. Fourth, from the harmonization of reason and revelation or philosophy and religion there is relevance for the paradigm of revelation guiding science, namely that the two discussion themes mutually integrate and try to find harmony.
