Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik di kelas IV MIN II Kota Bandung. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa nilai siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik masih terdapat di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu 65. Adapun rata-rata hasil studi pendahuluan di kelas IV MIN II Kota Bandung sebesar 63. Begitu pula dengan hasil wawancara dengan guru kelas di kelas II MIN 2 Kota Bandung, hasil rata- rata nilai PAS siswa hampir sebagian besar belum memenuhi KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran tematik di kelas IV MIN II Kota Bandung menggunakan model pembelajaran ICARE dan model pembelajaran konvensional 2) mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ICARE 3) mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional 4) mengetahui perbedaan pencapaian hasil belajar pada siswa yang memperoleh pebelajaran dengan model ICARE dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model konvensional. Peneliti menggunakan indikator hasil belajar dari Bloom yang dikembangkan oleh Anderson dan Krathwohl yaitu mengetahui, memahami, mengaplikasikan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, menciptakan. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu, hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran ICARE lebih baik dari siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non- equivalent control group design. Penelitian dilakukan di MIN II Kota Bandung. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 46 orang. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IV A sebanyak 22 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas B sebanyak 24 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) aktivitas guru dan siswa yang menerima pembelajaran dengan model ICARE lebih tinggi daripada guru dan siswa yang melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan model konvensional 2) hasil posttest siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki peningkatan yang baik dibuktikan dari hasil N-gain sebesar 0,76 dengan kategori tinggi. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,77 dengan kategori baik 3) hasil posttest siswa kelas kotrol juga terdapat peningkatan dibutikan dari hasil N-gain sebesar 0,32 dengan kategori sedang. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas kontrol sebesar 63,16 dengan kategori cukup 4) hasil analisis uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor posttest siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran ICARE lebih baik dari pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model konvensional. This research is based by the low student learning result in thematic learning in class IV MIN 2 Bandung. The results of the preliminary study show that students' scores in thematic learning are still below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) of 6.5. The average value of the results of the preliminary study in class IV MIN 2 in Bandung was 6.3. Likewise with the results of interviews with class teachers in class II MIN 2 in the city of Bandung, the average results of most students' assessment scores did not meet the KKM. This study aims to 1) determine the implementation of thematic learning in class IV MIN II Bandung using ICARE learning models and conventional learning models 2) find out the achievement of student learning outcomes in thematic learning using ICARE learning models 3) find out the achievement of student learning outcomes in thematic learning by using conventional learning models 4) knowing the difference in achievement of learning outcomes in students who obtain learning with the ICARE model and students who obtain learning with conventional models. Researchers use Bloom's learning outcomes indicators developed by Anderson and Krathwohl, namely knowing, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, creating. The hypothesis in this study is that the learning outcomes of students who obtain learning with the ICARE learning model are better than students who obtain conventional learning models. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with a non- equivalent control group design. The study was conducted at MIN II City of Bandung. The population of this research was 46 students in grade IV. The research sample is class IV A as many as 22 people as the control class and class B students as many as 24 people as the experimental class. The results showed that 1) the activities of teachers and students who received learning with the ICARE model were higher than those of teachers and students who carried out learning with conventional models 2) the posttest results of the experimental class students had a good increase needed from the N-gain of 0.76 with high category. The average student learning outcomes in the experimental class amounted to 83.77 with a good category 3) the posttest results of the control class students also there was an increase needed from the N-gain results of 0.32 with the medium category. Average student learning outcomes in the control class of 63.16 with enough categories 4) the results of the hypothesis test analysis showed that the average posttest score of students who received ICARE learning was better than students who learned with conventional models.
