Abstract

Weibull distribution is one of continuous probability distribution that used to deal with reliability and lifetime of a component such as the time until the faulty component is measured from a certain time until breaks. Weibull distribution are discussed in this paper is two-parameter Weibull distribution, that is α (scale parameter) and β (shape parameter). Assessment is using Bayes estimation method used by the prior distribution is Uniform distribution, Exponential distribution, Gompertz distribution and Gamma distribution. Research and simulations were performed the estimated value for each different prior distributions and the comparison of the estimated value by the MSE (means squared error).
