Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini membahas cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa, salah satunya dengan penerapan model pembelajaran hybrid . Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (a) perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran hybrid dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, (b) perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran hybrid dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional berdasarkan tingkat Pengetahuan Awal Matematika (PAM) yang kategorinya tinggi, sedang dan rendah, (c) perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan self-confidence siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran hybrid dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control group Design. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B MTs. At-Taufik. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes dan nontes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data n-gain, diperoleh: (a) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran hybrid dan pembelajaran konvensional, (b) Tidak terdapat perbedaan pencapaian komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran hybrid dan pembelajaran konvensional berdasarkan tingkat PAM, (c) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan self-confidence antara siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran hybrid dan pembelajaran konvensional. ENGLISH : This research discusses ways to improve students' mathematical communication abilities and self-confidence , one of which is by applying the hybrid Learning model. The purpose of this research is to find out: (a) The difference increase of students’ mathematical communication abilities using the hybrid learning model and students using conventional learning, (b) The difference in the achievement improvement of students'mathematical communication abilities that use hybrid learning models and students that use conventional learning based on the level of Early Mathematical Ability (EMA) which categories are high, medium and low, (c) The difference increase of students’ self-confidence using the hybrid learning model and students using conventional learning. The research method used is the quasi-experimental method with the Nonequivalent Control grup design. The samples from this study were class VIII-A and VIII-B of MTs At-taufik. Data obtained using research instruments in the form of tests and non-test. Based on the results of the research and processing of n-gain data using independent tests obtained: (a) There are differences in the increase of mathematical communication abilitys between students hwo use hybrid learning and conventional learning with the value of t (3,87) > (1,68), (b) There is no difference in the achievement of mathematical communication of students who use hybrid learning models and conventional learning based on PAM categories (high, medium, low with the value of F (2,03) < F table (5,08)), (c) There are differences in the increase of student’s self-confidence between students who use hybrid learning and conventional learnin with the value of t 2,43 > t table (2,009)
