Abstract

When opening a new study program, policy makers in Indonesian Islamic Higher Educationa did not formulate graduates' competencies, professions and soft skills in a standardized manner. Policy makers focus too much on scientific vision but ignore in stakeholder needs. The impact, the establishment of new study programs tends to create new unemployment graduates than who are ready to work. This study aims to formulate some values in aqida, akhlak and adab manners into soft skills of Islamic educational management professional that are needed in the millennial era which in adhere to Islamic values such as the principle of revelation guiding science (wahyu memandu ilmu). This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of content analysis. Data were analyzed based on philosophy, psychology, sociology and theology, then synthesized into the field of Islamic educational management through the scientific paradigm of wahyu memandu ilmu. The results showed, first; remembrance, thought, tawakal, istiqamah, trust, silaturrahim, tabayun, leadership, respect for time, patience, courtesy and do virtue are traits and personalities that must be trained to students as professional administration staff. Second; asserted that the graduates profile of the bachelor programme are administrative staff which is needs by thousands of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia and around the world.
