Abstract

INDONESIA: Penguat gelombang mikro merupakan bagian yang penting dari sebuah pemancar. Penguat tersebut bekerja untuk menaikan daya pancar sehingga jarak jangkauan pemancar menjadi lebih jauh. Pada penelitian ini, dirancang penguat gelombang mikro yang diterapkan pada Airport Surveillance Radar dengan frekuesi kerja 3 GHz. Penguat ini tersusun dua tingkat menggunakan komponen transistor tipe NE900275. Penguat gelombang mikro yang akan dirancang memiliki gain sebesar 25-30 dB, dengan faktor kestabilan (K) > 1. Selain itu, parameter yang juga harus diperhatikan dari perancangan penguat gelombang mikro ini adalah nilai Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) yang memiliki nilai <2, dimana hal ini merepresentasikan banyaknya nilai sinyal terpantul. Proses perancangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan piranti lunak Advanced Design System (ADS). Berdasarkan simulasi, hasil akhir rangkaian adalah gain sebesar 29,554 dB, VSWR 1,029 serta memenuhi standar kestabilan (K>1) yaitu 1,722 dan return of loss (<-10 dB). ENGLISH: Power amplifier is an important part of a transmitter. The amplifier works to increase transmit power so that the distance range of the transmitter becomes more distant. In this study, designed power amplifier is applied to the Airport Surveillance Radar with work frekuesi 3 GHz. This amplifier is composed of two stage using NE900275 type transistor components. Power amplifier to be designed to have a gain of 25-30 dB, with a stability factor (K)> 1. In addition, the parameters must also be considered from the design of microwave amplifiers are the value of Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) having a value < 2, where it represents the number of values reflected signals. The process of designing is done by using software Advanced Design System (ADS). Based on the simulation, the end result is a series of 29.554 dB gain, VSWR 1.029 and meet the standard of stability (K> 1) is 1.722, and the return of loss (<-10 dB).
