Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Bandung. Penerapan model Blended-Problem Solving berbasis Edmodo dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Blended-Problem Solving berbasis Edmodo berdasarkan tingkat PAM (tinggi, sedang dan rendah) siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas dan data yang diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan nontes berupa angket skala sikap. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh: (a) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Blended-Problem Solving berbasis Edmodo dengan model konvensional. (b) Terdapat perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Blended-Problem Solving berbasis Edmodo dengan model konvensional berdasarkan tingkat PAM (tinggi, sedang dan rendah). (c) Siswa menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model Blended-Problem Solving berbasis Edmodo. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Blended-Problem Solving berbasis Edmodo mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dengan e-Learning menggunakan bantuan soal-soal pemecahan maslah sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. ENGLISH : This research is motivated by the low ability of students to solve mathematical problems. This is based on the results of a preliminary study o one junior high school in Bandyng Regency. The application of Edmodo-based Blended-Problem Solving model is an alternative to help improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in achievement of mathematical problem solving abilities between those using Edmodo-based Blended-Problem Solving learning models based on the PAM level (high, medium and low) of students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experiment. The sample in this study consisted of two classes and the data obtained using a test instrument in form of a mathematical problem solving test and a non-test in the form af an attitude scale questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis obtained: (a) There is a difference in the improvement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities between those using Blended-Problem Solving based learning models Edmodo with conventional models. (b) There are differences in the achievement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities between those using Edmodo-based Blended-Problem Solving learning models and conventional models based on PAM levels (high, medium and low). (c) Students show a positive attitude towards mathematics learning using Edmodo-based Blended-Problem Solving models. Learning using Edmodo-based Blended-Problem solving model integrates face-to-face learning with e-Learning using the help of problem solving problems so that it can improve mathematical problem solving.
