Abstract
INDONESIA Tujuan dari skripsi ini adalah melakukan analisis data panel untuk data kategori. Langkah-langkah estimasi parameter dan pengujian hipotesis parameter diuraikan dalam skripsi ini, dengan menggunakan estimasi parameter dengan metode Maximum Likelihood Estimation. Likelihood Ratio Test digunakan untuk uji asumsi dari nilai estimasi. Penerapan metode digunakan pada data penderita AIDS di Jawa Barat. Hasil menunjukan peluang terjadinya AIDS pada laki-laki sebesar 0.2292367, hal ini tidak jauh berbeda dengan peluang terjadinya AIDS pada perempuan yakni sebesar 0.2285044. ENGLISH Objective of this thesis is to analyze of categorical panel data, steps of parametric estimation and hypothesis testing parametric described in this thesis, by using parametric estimation with Maximum Likelihood Estimation Method. Likelihood Ratio Test use for assumptions test from estimation value. Method was applicated on AIDS victim on Jawa Barat. The results showed the possibility of AIDSim male by 0.2292367 this in not much different from the female chances of AIDS which is equal to 0.2285044.
