Abstract
The soil condition has greatly effect for the growth and yield of cultivated crops. Land degradation is the condition when the land productivity has decreased. Damage soil has the effect to decrease the production because nutrients and organic materials in the root has gone, accumulation of compounds or elements which can be toxic to the crops, saturation of soil by erosion and water. This study aimed to determine the differences crop yields between the land which has good soil and water conditions and the degradation land, and to see the economic effect of the degradation.
