Abstract

Jargons is a variation of language. It is a part of Sociolinguistic field since it is relation with the usage of language by certain society in the same field. Here, the researcher takes cooperative field as the object of the research. A lot of English jargons used in cooperative field makes the researcher interested in classifying and analyzing them and their translation in Indonesian language, especially in their relation of meaning. There are a lot of English jargons in cooperative field. They are usually used by cooperative thinkers and activists in their books. Usually, English jargons in cooperative are written with its meaning or translation in Indonesian language. So, they make the reader easy to understand them. But, the problem is, there is differentiation in translating or making the meaning of the English jargons. For that reason, the researcher tries to describe and analyze the relation of meaning in cooperative English jargons. The researcher uses the descriptive method to find and compare the English jargons in some cooperative books. The researcher explains some theories which are related to the research, such as theory of Semantic, meaning, jargon, and cooperative itself.
