Abstract

INDONESIA: Bohasi daun gamal dan kascing merupakan salah satu pupuk organik yang dapat memperbaiki sifat tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis bohasi daun gamal dan pupuk kascing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun Jepang. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei sampai dengan Juli 2018 di Kabupaten Sumedang , Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaan berupa Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dengan tiga kali ulangan yang terdiri atas dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah perlakuan berbagai dosis bohasi daun gamal terdiri dari 4 taraf: b0= tanpa bohasi, b1= 10 t ha-1, b2 = 20 t ha-1, dan b3 = 30 t ha-1. Faktor kedua adalah berbagai perlakuan dosis pupuk kascing terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu k0 = tanpa pupuk kascing, k1= 5 t ha-1, dan k2= 10 t ha-1. Uji lanjut yang digunakan adalah uji DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antara berbagai dosis bohasi daun gamal dan pupuk kascing. Secara mandiri perlakuan pupuk kascing 10 t ha-1 berpengaruh terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman dan bobot buah per tanaman. ENGLISH: Bohasi leaf gamal and vermicompost is on organic fertilizer that can improve soil properties. This study aims to determine the effect of gamal leaf and vermicompost bohasi dosage on the growth and yield of Japanese cucumber plants. This research has been carried out in May to July 2018 in Sumedang Regency, West Java. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) design with three replications consisting of two factors. The first factor is the treatment of various doses of gamal leaf bohasi consisting of 4 levels, namely b0 = without bohasi, b1 = 10 t ha-1, b2 = 20 t ha-1, and b3 = 30 t ha-1. The second factor is the various treatments of vermicompost dosage consisting of 3 levels, namely k0 = without verb, k1 = 5 t ha-1, and k2 = 10 t ha-1. The further test used is DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at level 5. The results of the study showed that there was no interaction between various doses of gamal leaf bohasi independently, it did not significantly affect all observational parameters. Independently the treatment of k2 = 10 t ha-1 had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height and fruit weight each plant.
