Abstract

INDONESIA Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya keberagaman kemampuan penguasaan materi guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan penguasaan pengetahuan, Belum adanya alat ukur yang akurat untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru, pembinaan yang dilakukan belum mencerminkan kebutuhan dan Kesejahteraan guru yang belum memadai serta Belum terlihat dampak peningkatan kinerja pada guru yang telah teresertifikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: Pertama, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Kondisi Objektif Kompetensi Profesional Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin di Kabupaten Bekasi. Kedua, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Bentuk Pengembangan Kompetensi Profesional guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin di Kabupaten Bekasi. Ketiga, untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Implementasi Pengembangan Kompetensi Profesional Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin di Kabupaten Bekasi. Keempat,keunggulan dan keterbatasan Program Pengembangan Kompetensi Profesional guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin di Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research And Development (R&D) dan dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan uji-t (t-test) untuk mengukur taraf signifikansi menghitung perbedaan rerata pretest dan posttest menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0 yang bertujuan menghasilkan desain pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya Perkembangan Kompetensi Professional Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin. Pertama, Kondisi objektif tingkat kompetensi profesional guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin masing-masing terdiri dari, untuk Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang terdapat 28 guru, sedangkan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin terdapat 20 guru yang memiliki sertifikasi profesional dan dinyatakan sebagai guru profesional. Kedua, Bentuk Program Pengembangan Kompetensi Profesional Guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin yaitu dengan menggunakan program In House Training (IHT). Ketiga, Hasil implementasi pengembangan Kompetensi Profesional guru Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cikarang dan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Cabangbungin mengalami pengembangan kompetensi professional guru yang signifikan. Hasil supervisi atasan langsung terdapat adanya peningkatan hasil yang baik. Keempat, Program Pengembangan Kompetensi Profesional guru Madrasah ini memiliki keunggulan dan keterbatasan. ENGLISH This research is conducted due to the diverse teachers’ abilities in the learning process and the knowledge acquisition, the absence of accurate testing tools to look into teachers’ ability, the gap between the coaching and the needs, and the inadequacy of the teachers’ welfare. There are four purposes of this research. First is to understand the real conditions of the Teachers’ Professional Competence in The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin of Bekasi Regency. Second, it is to understand the Teachers’ Professional Competence Development of The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin of Bekasi Regency. Third is to find out the Result of Teachers’ Professional Competence Development of The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin of Bekasi Regency. The fourth is to find out the strengths and weaknesses Teachers’ Professional Competence Development Program in The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin of Bekasi Regency. This research employed Research and Development (R&D) method. The data obtained was analyzed using t-test to measure the significance level of difference between the mean pretest and posttest results using SPSS version 16.0. The objective was to produce the teachers’ professional competence development design in The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin. The research result about the Teachers’ Professional Competence Development in The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin indicated that: First, objectively there were 28 teachers in The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and there were 20 teachers in The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin. All of them already acquired the Professional Certificate and can be considered as professional teachers. Second, The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin employed In House Training (IHT) program to develop the teacher competence. Third, the implementation results of the Teachers’ Professional Competence Development in The State Islamic Senior High School Cikarang and The State Islamic Senior High School Cabangbungin indicated significant development of the teachers’ professional competence. The results of the immediate supervisor inspection confirmed the good improvement. Fourth, the Teacher Professional Competence Program in Islamic School had its own advantages and limitations.
