Abstract

In electric power systems operating renewable technologies such as PLTS on-grid Photovoltaics will have a devastating impact to the system's balance. Photovoltaics have intermittent properties which are not always present whenever needed, especially photovoltaic one type of non-dispatchable power plan because it can not adjust the power output according to demand that is influenced by natural factors, such as cloud cloudy that can block the intensity of solar radiation to the solar panel. This study discusses electrical distribution systems integrated with on-grid photovoltaic technology, requiring a method to anticipate or improve network reliability due to photovoltaic intermittence. One alternative overcomes intermittent problems in the operation of intermittent plants by minimizing the involvement of fast response generators with demand response. Demand response is selected as part of the concept to set the demand side. This study forms a slice of two curves between the Bus 4 load curve and the output power curve of the PLTS and sampling the slices of the two curves according to the data assumption, so that there are error points that require the load curve to adjust to the output power curve of the PLTS. Using two modeling ie technically and math. Technically, in regulating power users to reduce demand from their normal demand, a demand-based demand response program based on Real Time Price (RTP) is mathematical considerations. Changes in expenses on working days, days and weekends each have an average decline of 64.59% for 5 hours 40 minutes, 75.42%, for 6 hours 20 minutes, and 53.21% over 8 hours 30 minutes, and the average increase of 38.15% for 6 hours 20 minutes, 26.70% for 5 hours 40 minutes, and 42.15% for 3 hours 30 minutes. The result of this program is that electric users can switch their electricity usage (load shifting) to the surplus power time.
