Abstract

Gitar adalah salah satu alat musik yang paling umun digunakan, salah satu jenis gitar adalah gitar elektrik. Gitar elektrik hanya mampu mengeluarkan satu jenis suara ketika digunakan. Kemudian dikembangkanlah alat yang mampu mengubah keluaran suara yang dihasilkan yang disebut efek gitar yang mampu mengeluarkan berbagai jenis suara. Untuk mengganti efek suara diperlukan juga alat yang disebut pedal effect. Dengan berkembangnya berbagai jenis suara efek pergantian efek seringkali membutuhkan banyak modul efek. Perpindahan dari suatu efek ke efek lain pada umumnya dilakukan secara manual. Pada penelitian Tugas Akhir ini dikembangkan pedal efek dengan sistem digital mengunakan perangkat Arduino. Perangkat ini dirancang untuk dapat merubah dan menghasilkan efek gitar otomatis. Sinyal suara yang dihasilkan gitar akan melalui proses pengkodean pada Arduino IDE. Untuk merubah efek disedikan tombol pada antarmuka dan beberapa tombol lain untuk merubah gain, bass, treble. Dari hasil perancangan dan pengujian alat dihasilkan 2 jenis suara efek yaitu clean dan overdrive. ABSTRACT The guitar is one of the most commonly used musical instruments, one of a kind guitar is an electric guitar. Electric guitar is only able to issue one type of sound when used. Then developed a tool that is able to change the output of the resulting sound called guitar effect that is able to issue various types of sound. To change the sound effects required also a tool called the pedal effect. With the development of different types of sound effects, change of effects often requires many modules of effect. Moving from one effect to another is generally done manually. In this thesis research in developing effect pedal with digital system using Arduino device. This device is designed to be able to change and produce automatic guitar effects. The sound signal produced by the guitar will go through the encoding process on the Arduino IDE. To change the effect provided button on the interface and some other buttons to change the gain, bass, treble. From the results of design and testing tools produced 2 types of sound effects that is clean and overdrive.
