Abstract

Permasalahan Transportasi merupakan proses penempatan sumber daya pada lokasi tertentu. Dalam permasalahan transportasi terdapat solusi layak awal dan solusi optimal. Penelitian ini membahas tentang mencari solusi layak awal dari Metode Aproksimasi Vogel (VAM), Metode Aproksimasi Vogel Modifikasi (MVAM) dan Improved Zero Point Method (IZPM). Untuk menguji keoptimalan menggunakan Modified Distribution Method (MODI) dengan perbandingan dari Metode Northwest Corner. Dalam penyelesaian tugas akhir ini menggunakan 2 kasus, kasus pertama yaitu data seimbang (balanced) dan kasus kedua yaitu data tak seimbang (unbalanced). Metode Aproksimasi Vogel Modifikasi (MVAM) dengan perbandingan dari Modified Distribution Method (MODI) merupakan metode paling optimal dibandingkan dengan Improved Zero Point Method (IZPM) dengan kasus pertama pada data seimbang (balanced) maupun dengan kasus kedua pada data tak seimbang (unbalanced). Transportation Problem are the process of placing resources at a particular location. In transportation problems there are initial feasible solution and optimal solutions. This study discusses about finding the optimal solution from Vogel Approximation Method (VAM), Modified Vogel Approximation Method (MVAM) and Improved Zero Point Method (IZPM). To test the optimization using Modified Distribution Method (MODI) with a comparison of the Northwest Corner Method. In completion of this final project use 2 case, first case that is balance data and second case that is unbalanced data. Modified Vogel Approximation Method (MVAM) by comparison Modified Distribution Method (MODI) is the most optimal method compared to the Improved Zero Point Method (IZPM) with the first case on balanced data as well as with the second case on unbalanced data.
